Information & privacy

Directory and editorial notice review dates show when information was checked. The live conditions panels retrieve official public data and show their own timestamps. Always confirm current schedules, opening hours, availability and event details with the provider.

Kxeen does not collect payment details. Optional marketplace accounts store your email address, display name, password hash, recovery-code hash and session records. Listing text, photos and your chosen listing contact are public. Account email addresses stay private unless you choose to publish them as listing contact details. Listings expire after 30 days; expired, sold or removed listings are hidden from public browsing. Account and listing data remain stored for account management and abuse review. Rate-limit counters and listing reports are stored to help prevent abuse. We do not verify account email ownership or seller identity. You can remove your listings from My listings; for account deletion or other privacy requests, email admin@unknownroads.com. Search terms, category choices and selected listing IDs can appear in the page URL. Photos are served with the site; fonts are served locally under their open font licences. The site’s server retrieves public conditions data from ECCC, Fisheries and Oceans Canada and USGS. These requests use Prince Rupert’s fixed location, not your device location. The City videos page uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player, loaded only when you choose to load a recording. Loading the player connects your browser to YouTube, which may process your IP address and technical information under its own policies. Kxeen does not download or host the recordings. Hosting providers may process technical access information. External links, map services, Ko-fi and its payment providers operate under their own privacy policies.
