Downtown property owners invited to host a community mural

The City is inviting downtown property owners to express interest in hosting a mural using a design by local artist Chris Fraser. One business will be selected for the initiative.
The design is provided without charge, but the recipient pays fabrication and installation costs. Subject to approval through the Business Façade Improvement Program, assistance may cover up to $1,500 or half of eligible costs, whichever is less.
Expressions of interest are due November 9, 2026. The City requires installation to be completed by December 31, 2026; applicants should read the full eligibility and submission requirements before applying.
